However, he is not satisfied and wants to ride without the training wheels, balancing like the adults he observes around him: Mr. Renato carries the newspaper under his arm, Mrs. Adelaida carries the shopping without falling over and Caetano, the postman, delivers the mail all over the city. To achieve this, Rino discovers that, in addition to his determination, he will need the help of others.
