Women are not allowed to get angry. If she does, she is crazy, hysterical or too hormonal. The protagonist of the vignettes by the outstanding illustrator Sol Díaz, faces in her daily life a beast that appears to challenge her and to confront her with things she doesn’t want to accept about her condition as a woman, mother, daughter, partner.
With an extraordinary talent for depicting her inner conflicts with sharpness and humour, the author’s powerful stroke connects with the dark side of women’s emotions to reveal a path of self-knowledge and acceptance.
