20 Poems of Life and a Broken Down Bell

A poetic selection woven from the autobiographical thread of Neruda, who crafted poetry from personal experience while drawing life from poetry itself. In this continuous back-and-forth, his poems were spun, and from that place, he set out to share a newly discovered, profound, and universal truth. This sense of wonder appears as the imprint that marked him, illuminating his path to reach others. The volume is accompanied by a CD for listening to the poems, interspersed with brief musical interludes composed by the Chilean musician and composer Adolfo Flores.
The poems included in this book have been taken from the following works by Pablo Neruda: Memorial de Isla Negra, El hondero entusiasta, Residencia en la Tierra, Residencia en la Tierra II, España en el corazón, Estravagario, El mar y las campanas and Los versos del capitán.
